Blogging is one important way a company can personally connect with the consumer. I'm not sure why but I feel like social media is going to blow up in the next year, and yes I realize how much it already has. But some people aren't necessarily utilizing all the of the tools these social media outlets give them! It's exciting and scary at the same time, I wonder where the advertising/marketing world will be in five years...

I think blogging is a really good idea. It is more like a journal for the company in which they maintain their ideas and get positive or negative feedback from their consumers. Also the consumers will know what the company is up to and how they are changing and adapting to the times.

A blog is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Blogging is an amazing tool. It's long term profitability is up to some debate but for now, it rocks!
