I was on a public relations committee for Penn State's Dance MaraTHON (www.thon.org - take a look!), and part of our job was to post certain Facebook statuses or retweet THON's posts on Twitter (@THON). I know it's on a much smaller scale, but sometimes the retweets got people talking; I've had people ask me about them before, which is really cool. I love knowing that I'm help spreading the word about such an awesome cause! This article was really interesting!
