Great article, and agree completely ... long tail keywords are particularly effective in article marketing - a few well-written and well-distributed articles with long tail keywords linked back to your site can push your site to the top of Google fairly quickly for multiple long-tail keyword phrases. The low competition for such phrases make the process very straightforward and the effects of course can be very powerful.

One of my clients looking for ranking on most almost all the cities of Norway and "Norway" itself. Now, his website is a video streaming website, that showcase videos related to Norway travel.

He says, we want to reach where no one has reached yet. He's very specific about single word keywords and want his website to be ranked on all. He's competing with www.visitnorway.com, here I need your help, how shall I convince him targeting short keywords or single word keyword for his Norway travel website won't make any gain.
