Pretty much any decent-sized company has a web site, but it can take a lot of effort to constantly update the content.  Social networking allows pretty much any person in the company to update your info.

Of course, your followers could get turned off if your posts indulge too much in straight-up self promotion, but if you show a bit of your friendly/human side, fans will stay interested.</description>
